These Hemline Bodkins come in packs of 2 – pinch type and thread type, for elastics and ribbons.

The thread type has a very large eye allowing for wider widths or ribbon and elastic to be threaded though channels, with a blunt cap at the end to stop it pushing an accidental hole through the fabric, and the pinch adjustable bodkin is great for threading through particularly narrow passages.

Both of these bodkins are great for mask making (making it much easier to thread your elastic through the channel at the end) and also adding elastic to waistbands, and re-threading colds through channels in coats and trousers.

We do also have ‘loop turners’ available in the store if you wish to turn narrow rouleau looping.
