Textile artist and illustrator Amy Butcher creates delightful mixed media embroidery kits under the brand name Beaks and Bobbins. Choose your favourite design and Amy will teach you a range of stitches, beading and embellishment techniques using the kit you choose in class. This class is perfect for beginner embroiderers, seasoned embroiderers and our own returners to this popular class. Your kit is included in the class price.

While you embellish your chosen design, Amy will teach you a range of embroidery techniques (or boost your confidence if you already have the basics). After this class, you will be able to apply your skills to a wide range of stunning embroidery designs by small makers/textile artists like Amy, which we sell here online and in our York and Harrogate shops.

Amy’s illustrations are pre-printed onto the fabric base which in class you will make your own. There is also a backing sheet supplied so that you can finish your artwork ready to hang.

You’re welcome to cancel your booking up to 14 days before the workshop date. If you need to cancel after that time, we’re unable to offer a refund or move your booking. However, we’d be happy to transfer your place to someone else of your choosing at no additional cost.
