26/10/2022 World Embroidery Workshop: Japanese Sashiko Mat - Wednesday 26 October (10am-4pm) York

Sew Japanese Sashiko work to make a small tea mat. We will look at the Sashiko patterns and the history behind it while enjoying stitching these fascinating patterns. Finish off the mat to take home for your afternoon tea.

Textile artist Helen Barnes takes us with her on her world tour of embroidery, as she teaches the skills she brought back.
