Our Knitting for Beginners tutor Judith Schur is ready to share with you the absolute pleasure she gets from knitting. Learn to cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch, rib stitch (a combination of the 2) and cast off and to read a pattern, then you’re all set to go. After that, all you need is practice and a sense of adventure. This class is also suitable for those who feel a bit rusty and lacking confidence.

Tutor Judith Schur has loved knitting since she was a child and previously had her own yarn shop. She has a City and Guilds trained in Hand Knitting and Design and is passionate about sharing the knowledge and skills needed to get everyone knitting.

This knitting for beginners class is to give you a taste of what you can achieve with basic stitches. With a bit of practice, you will soon be ready for her follow-up classes that take you class by class on more elaborate knitting adventures, from Cable Stitch and Brioche to Sock Knitting and more.
